Created by RUMTUM of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nominated for Best Artzine at the Broken Pencil Zine Awards 2020. This first volume in a quarterly series on the subject of queer identity combines the high production quality of an artist’s book (letterpress, risoprinting, fine binding) with the affordability and approachability of a zine. The cased-in accordion structure can be read either spread by spread or can be partially dissembled from the cover, pulled out long to reveal a glowing flame pattern within. Pictures are by Jade Juno, text and binding by Sarah Evenson. The two work together under the name RUMTUM.
